Commissioning of Motorbikes for Gokwe South RDC

On 7 March 2026, Gokwe South Rural District Council held a commissioning ceremony for 45 motorbikes aimed at improving service delivery across the district.
The event was officiated by the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Midlands Province, Hon Owen Ncube, who commended the council for investing in resources that enhance mobility and efficiency among council officials.
Out of the 45 motorbikes commissioned:
43 motorbikes were allocated to ward councilors to enable them to effectively reach communities and monitor development activities within their respective wards.
2 motorbikes were allocated to the Revenue Department of Gokwe South Rural District Council to strengthen revenue collection and improve operational efficiency across the district.
The commissioning of the motorbikes is expected to enhance accessibility to remote areas, improve communication between councilors and residents, and support efficient service delivery throughout the district.

Gokwe South RDC Officials Assess Zhamba Community Hall Completion
