
Gokwe South Rural District Council has successfully procured a new front-end loader using funds provided through the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA). The acquisition marks a significant milestone in the Council’s ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery and improve infrastructure development across the district.
The new front-end loader will play a vital role in the maintenance and rehabilitation of roads, earth-moving projects, drainage works, and other public infrastructure. It will also enhance the Council’s capacity to respond efficiently to emergencies, carry out road maintenance programmes, and support community development initiatives.
Speaking on the development, Council management expressed appreciation to ZINARA for the continued support, noting that the equipment will improve operational efficiency, reduce reliance on hired machinery, and enable the Council to deliver quality services to residents in a timely and cost-effective manner.
