Gokwe South RDC Officials Assess Zhamba Community Hall Completion

The Chief Executive Officer of Gokwe South Rural District Council, Mr. Jabulani Gute, together with the District Development Coordinator, Madam Mushauri, the Council Chairperson, Mr. A. Karikoga, and the management team, accompanied by the Technical Services Department, conducted a field visit to Zhamba community to assess the newly constructed community hall in Ward 3.

The hall, built through the Council’s Plough Back initiative, is a key community project under the oversight of Ward Councillor Mr. Manhibi. During the visit, the officials carefully inspected the facility to review the status of completion and ensure that the construction meets the required standards.

The exercise demonstrates Gokwe South RDC’s commitment to monitoring development projects, ensuring quality, and supporting community infrastructure that benefits local residents. Gokwe South Rural District Council held a meeting yesterday with residents of Manoti to discuss matters relating to service delivery and the current status of Manoti Business Centre.
The meeting provided a platform for residents to raise their concerns, seek clarification on ongoing developments, and engage directly with Council officials. Key issues discussed included service provision, infrastructure development, and the overall management of Manoti Business Centre.

Gokwe South RDC First Year Meeting 2026

Gokwe South Rural District Council held its First Year Meeting in 2026 with employees of Gokwe South RDC in attendance. The meeting was convened to review the previous period’s performance, discuss key operational and developmental aspects, and outline the way forward for the year.

During the meeting, various key issues were discussed, including service delivery, teamwork among departments, work performance, challenges faced by employees, and strategies for improving efficiency and effectiveness.
