Gokwe South Rural District Council is conducting a comprehensive systems audit from **13 July 2026 to 15 July 2026** as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening institutional systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving service delivery.
The systems audit is being chaired by **District Development Coordinator (DDC) Mr. Mutsakani of Gokwe North**, with the support of **two Assistant District Development Coordinators from Gokwe South**. The audit team is working closely with Council management and departmental heads to review the effectiveness of existing systems and operational procedures.
The primary objective of the audit is to assess the Council’s administrative, financial, technical, and operational systems, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and develop practical recommendations that will shape the way forward for the institution. The exercise is expected to enhance accountability, improve internal controls, promote good governance, and ensure that Council systems remain responsive to the needs of the communities they serve.
Through this initiative, Gokwe South Rural District Council reaffirms its commitment to continuous institutional improvement and the adoption of best practices that support effective service delivery and sustainable development.
